Has technology relatively peaked already?
It seems rationale that by the limits of limits technology would have a peak
Flying cars we're suppose to be here already by 2000 and we can't even get a ford EV to make it past 200 miles in 40 degree weather
What mind blowing advances have we had since electricity, internet, etc?

It's peaked in the sense that we can't move forward unless we make some major breakthroughs in certain technologies. A good example is batteries. The current stuff is just not feasible to allow a full transition to electric power yet.

You literally have a tiny computer in your hand that can do anything for you on a moments notice and you're asking what technology has done since internet and electricity?
I remember having to print out directions on Mapquest to go somewhere when I was a teenager... and those f*cking things always missed a turn.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Pretty sure it peaked in 1969 and has been trajectoring down since. Can’t make it to the moon anymore or even launch the rocket.

Definitely seems so for now. Everything new is just built on major advancements prior and improved. If you look at the big things that advanced tech through history they’re few and far between. It’s probably always been this way. Everyone feels like we’re peaked out and every century or so some big breakthrough comes along that changes things.

Not even remotely. Things are getting remarkably better each day. We still have zero understanding of dark matter or of how humans encode and store memories, and there are several unsolved problems in anomalous materials that may prove exciting for technology in the future. So, no. Not even close. Lord Kelvin or some other old school physicist is said to have stated that the future of physics lies in the fifth decimal place or something along those lines. This was to claim that most everything of importance had already been discovered. That was before computers, the nuclear bomb, the theory of relativity, and a ton of other incredible breakthroughs. Point being there is still a lot unexplained. We can't even really explain why there seems to be more matter than antimatter. And we cannot explain galactic dynamics and dark energy without resorting to ad hoc empirical laws that we don't quite understand. There is a lot at play we are just starting to discern.
Ofc to most smoothbrains who don't even bother to understand what we already have, nothing ever changes or happens.

The transistor is tapped out, that's why "advancements" have been slowing since the 60's

At least where I live the way we construct houses is still primitive and expensive. Why aren't we using modular prefab and just assembling on site?

Until we can figure out how to Power electronics better we are stagnating.
Brb invent a minblowing Google glasses to augment our reality but battery only lasts half an hour or you need a fat battery back on your head. Vr takes a chit town of power. We will be tablet/phone maxing until they figure this out(might be impossible though).
Driverless cars are way off to being reality
They keep making us all these cool devices (airpods etc) but they have chit battery power
