Anyone using Verizon LTE home wifi?

I live in a rural area so all we currently get is broadband through a satellite which I've had for a handful of years. The plan I'm on is 40 or 50$ a month and gets me an absolute poverty level of connection speed at 15mbps download and 1.5mbps upload. Its fine for browsing the internet but streaming 4K is a no go. The company does have higher tier plans but the price shoots up exponentially along with slightly better speeds.

Verizon just started offering LTE home internet in my area that promises between 25-50mbps download and typical upload speeds of 4mbps for only 25$ a month. I live on an open prairie and the only trees for miles are the few planted around my property so I think I should get speeds closer to the 50mbps range due to the lack of natural interference. 5G is not an option in my area yet.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to be switching but I'm curious if anyone has any experience shares on the Verizon connection, Thanks in advance!

I tried but was only averaging like 7-8MB. On a very good day early morning with no clouds I got 12-13mb a couple times. Returned it within the 30 days no problem.

So, try it. Worst case is their towers are far away, and the speed goes down as distance increases. But i had no problem returning.

I have Verizon service for my cell phone and hardly get one bar at my house I don't receive texts unless I go out on my porch so I'm assuming this isn't an option for me and I'm stuck with AT&T U-verse
