You guys ever get lower back pain after benching?

Sounds strange af right? Been like 3 weeks since i lifted. Went in yesterday to do a push workout and today my left side lowerback is FUKT…

I dont do any excessive arching and was only doing 205 3x8.

Wtf mane. Maybe im just becoming a boomer fml.

Ya. I find putting my feet up on the bench stops the low back pain. Im not trying to win any powerlifting comps so dgaf about bloatlords critiquing my form.

I only had lower back pain from benching early on. After I got used to the setup never had lower back pain from benching even though I have a fairly decent upper back arch (not exorcist style but pretty much as high as I can get for someone with moderate flexibility). I think the key thing was avoiding grind reps and working in moderate rep ranges of 7+ clean reps.
