Ideas on smart home devices that can make phone calls?
Cliffs:
Grandma insists on living alone
Grandma is a fall risk
Grandma refuses to wear LifeAlert or AppleWatch or similar
I want to put something in every room of her house so if she falls she can just tell “Alexa (or whatever) call 911”
Alexa/Amazon doesn’t support calling 911 but I could set it up to call the local police/fire station. Wondering if anyone had ideas other than putting an echo dot in every room.
Thoughtful srs responses are much appreciated. I love her and respect her wishes but want to protect her the best I can.
