At least real estate must be cheap and cost of living super low, with all the property crime and feces covered sidewalks. Right... right?

Spent 4 nights in San Fran during 2016
Was at a nice hotel in fisherman’s wharf
Hobos everywhere, garbage floating through the streets, needles in the gutters, ques for everything half decent, everyone was rude and arrogant
A liberal paradise
Can only imagine it’s worse now

Lot of people here who have never actually traveled around SF. Lol at staying in fisherman’s wharf or downtown and basing the entire city off that. Marina, pac heights, Russian hill, and others are some of the nicest “city” neighborhoods in the country, and this is coming from someone who’s traveled around a lot.
Maybe try not staying in the areas that all residents avoid because they’re ****holes

Proof that through money (a lot of money) all things are possible.

I was there briefly in 2017. Reached out to someone of authority in a supposedly reputable outreach program who essentially led me on and then ignored me. I'm definitely a soldier who has earned a couple of stripes of his rainbow pride flag and I was denied. I didn't really see much magic. Worldliness, yes. Magic, no.

They keep the homeless out of certain areas so I’ll go there and barely see them.
I spend a lot of time in SF actually, but I wouldn’t want to live there. The weather is too depressing and I’m not big on city life.
