Is this red pill from my teacher friend true?

Went to uni with this guy and he was a left-leaning type of bloke but reasonable on many topics.

He did 2 years of teaching in a public secondary (high) school in London, then ditched the UK for a private school South Korea and he told me that giving education to "underprivileged" is cope.

In a somewhat academically selective school he would face insults, degenerate behaviour and even entitled parents who blame the system for their kids' failures.

In the environment of wealthy Golden Bull kids he faces only respect towards him, academia and ambitions to become scientists and industry top dogs on their way to university applications. He thinks now he is better off being their mentor as they actually have a chance to change the world positively.

Educating under priviledged kids isa complete waste of resources... they will achieve nothing and be a drain on society.

Why is that redpill again?

There is little respect for teachers left in US or U.K.

Both my parents used to be elementary teachers. My dad literally quit it to be a janitor because he couldn't stand the kids any more.

Anyone in education will tell you the #1 influence on any kid's behavior is their parent/s. Until we address that, we are pruning the leaves of the weed and ignoring the stem.

There is a reason why private schools always pay teachers less than public schools, often up to 50% less. Teachers will take it just to get a cherry-picked group of parents that care.

The problem is they've removed any actual authority that teachers have to deal with little chits.
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.

The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."

The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

You would be utterly disgusted knowing how much money the public school systems waste on short bus kids who have no hope of ever contributing to society. Probably 10x the amount they spend on the regular kids.

From genetics to the basics of upbringing has a wide effect on someone's capabilities. There is absolutely no point in teaching advanced math and science to most people. US policy to compete with other countries was to push math and science and this was stupid. Fact is that those type of things are only relevant for people with IQ's 120+ because that's what it takes to be efficient in those areas. Why do we try to prep every student for college when most aren't college material? I think there needs to be a more diverse program of education and students need to go down the path that best suits themselves individually.
