It is better to argue with people bigger than you why they are

On the misc it is better to argue with people bigger than you, telling you why they are bigger than you, than to listen to them tell you why they are bigger than you.

Am I right?

and if you can't come up with a good argument against them just blame steroids.

Then seek confirmation bias from other guys who are smaller than the big person as to why they are so much smaller than the big guy.

the problem is people are arguing with me about things I believed a decade ago and have learned since to not be the best way/completely wrong. So I have about a decade and a half now being VERY into lifting, and a decade into bodybuilding when I have definitely invested more time and effort into, but then people like notbadnotbrad think they know more about how much protein you need and he thinks the studying he has done FAR outweighs the things I have leanred in 15 years of being into lifting/nutrition much more than him.

Explain what that mechanism is in notbadnotbrad that makes him think his knowledge on the subject matter is so vastly superior to mine he can belittle and mock me with how superior his bodybuilding knowledge is.

Obviously if he took steroids he would be 320lbs and peeled of course.

except as I stated I have been in the trenches actually being more passionate about bodybuilding than the VAST majority of people in this forum. It isnt subjective, it is objective. I am not "proud" of it honestly, to have wasted or spent so much life on ****ing bodybuilding, but here I am. It is just that I have chosen to actually LIFT consistently for over a decade 5 + days a week with only a week off here and there, like maybe 5 times. I have chosen to spend hours and hours reading 20+ books on lifting, nutrition, and hypertrophy. I have read countless studies, competed in bodybuilding powerlifting and strongman, and trained with some of the top professionals.

I am not just someone who has been going to golds gym and 24 hour fitness and dabbled with a cycle here and there and watched some youtube videos and instagram and tiktok experts and then decided I know everything.

I’ve taken steroids and I went from a 315 1 rep max on bench to 405 in a matter of 12 weeks - I went from 215lbs to 248lb in weight while maintaining the same bf %

Steroids probably only contributed roughly 10 percent to my increase in strength and size though according to you right?

In fact I don’t think nattys even understand how much steroids help… natty lifting and enhanced lifting is night and day

I think the 10% number comes from looking at tested vs untested powerlifting numbers. A terrible way to put a number on how effective they are.
