he was a drug user, and was in the news about it recently. not that surprising, but 45 is still very young.
🟩🟩🟩🟩 I am Jack's complete lack of surprise. 🟩🟩🟩🟩

This. Can't say this is a surprise given his recent behavior/drug addictions.

RIP Stephan.

In addition to his drug use he was in a bad car accident late last year and developed some severe complications may have been a contributing factor to his death.

Damn, RIP to the legend. Like most early fans, Bonnar vs Griffin and TUF 1 was the moment I started following the sport after the insane fight. He was a trailblazer and a legend, the finale will always be one of the two major pivot points in UFC history along with Kanr McGragr

didnt he start taking the pain killers as a reult fo the car crash?

he fractured a couple vertebrae in the crash and got pokets of staph around his spine as a result. the first time he went to get the pain in his back checked, they didnt detect anything and his situation deteriorated and im pretty sure he started taking pain killers as a result and then the second time he went to the ER, thats when they diagnosed his problem
