Anyone who isn't a complete moron realized that the idea of successfully turning Afghanistan into a western style representative republic was a completely ridiculous since at least 2003, if not earlier.

There was a time not long ago when the peoples of Afghanistan ventured out to successfully conquer and pillage their neighbors.

The unblessed of today will become the gifted of tomorrow. I've already purchased some land there.

US couldn't get out of their own way, same as Vietnam. Fighting a war with two arms tied behind their back.
