Ive seen 2 seperate brahs have heart attacks, and twice have i seen brahs throats cut by skates and the game continued on to completion.

I wouldnt say it's an every team thing.....seems like a choice by the player. Seen multiple guys where different slogans on the back of their helmet. I think the end zone thing is accurate though.

OP might srsly be on dat autism spectrum. I watched it live and the announcers were shook. its like everyone knew something was really really bad like a few minutes after the hit.


grave injuries/deaths hit society differently for whatever reason. this one hit the US at a collective level. Maybe it had to do with it was such a big game, maybe cuz of the vax people dropping off, economic anxieties who knows?


EDIT: also very few people almost to make the generalization NO ONE cares about hockey or most other sports. read years ago that NHL offered to pay to be on regular TV instead of the other way around and they were turned down...said it was more profitable to run those infomercials on saturday. LOL at that sport.

Sports games never get stopped for stuff like injuries, like, ever. Especially at the pro level. I went to a played HS with a guy whose leg snapped so hard on one random play, everyone in the audience heard it clear as day and we were hung up for like half an hour waiting for medics to get him to the hospital. Dude wound up developing some sort of freak cancer as a result of his injury too, ded fkn serious, it was so horrible.

The game went on and was finished. As much as it sucks, you can't just reschedule every sporting event that could be finished once the injuries on the field are dealt with.

fwiw, I don't even watch the NFL aside from my local team on the rare occasions they actually have a season where they aren't terrible. So I'm not saying all that to stick up for the NFL themselves, they can go get F'd as an organization after all the woke political bs they decided to get balls deep into.
