Dogs in wedding photos

When did this become a thing? I'm in a zoom meeting at work right now and one guy proudly has his fur family wedding photo as his display picture; a photo of he and his wife + their dog which probably took a **** in the grass during the exchanging of vows. Seriously what a limpdick flaggot to be remotely prideful of such a sad disgrace of a life. I would rope if my wife wanted her fur babies in the wedding photos.

Brb hire professional photographer for a few thousand dollars for your princess day
Brb get my little fluffykins in the photo omg can you please get him to stop barking
Brb #FurFam

I sometimes wonder how much further this will go, and how much further my contempt for this world will reach

I like animals but it bothers me when people try to humanize them to the extent of being fur babies and drop-in replacements for real humans.

Imagine the smell and the hair all over your wedding outfits and the crap in the yard. Gross.

My girlfriend and I had set life goals (dated for 6+ years before I proposed). Plan was to both finish school, we both love animals but agreed no dog until we own a house. Also agreed no kids until we owned a house. To me, marriage was appropriate any time around when we would buy a house.

Long story short, I proposed, bought our dog a few months before we got our house but we were renting on acreage (as a gift for her but really just got the dog I wanted), then got our house.

For our wedding we rented a campground so everyone could stay overnight. Of course the dog was there and in some pics but certainly not the focus. My favourite pic is my wife in her wedding dress holding my now old dog when he was a puppy.

Marriagecel men do all kinds of cucked chit like that. I work with a dude who is married and still has his phone background/lock screen photo proudly set to some 5+ year old pic of him smooching his wife, for example. The type of chit 20 year olds experiencing puppy love do.

Now before the usual resident misc marriagecels come at me for that saying "lulz, you just don't lay pipe right" or whatever bs - understand that the same guy routinely bitches about how his wife only bangs him a few times a year.

Point being, don't let a pig fool you just because it wears lipstick and a wig. It's still a pig, and it still likes wollowing in mux and filth when you aren't looking at it.

I love dogs but the dog obsession in society these days has to stop.

Last time I was in Home Depot, someone was walking their big dog around inside.

It's just weird. I love my dog but I'm not about to start taking her to stores with me or including her in wedding photos or chit like that.

Holy chit this too. I see women bringing pooches to the grocery store, even some women bringing them to restaurants. I guess restaurants allow it if they sit outside. Is the dog going to eat a salad, too? No? Then keep the dog at home wtf it's a dog it will be just fine.

I think it all stems from them either humanizing dogs like you said, or they think everyone loves their dog as much as they do, and Iwantyour dog coming up and sniffing me when I'm running errands.

A more pressing question is why this bothers you so much you decided to create a sizeable post about it on the misc? Can't you just let people live their own lives the way they see fit?

Dogs are awesome too, OP. I regret not having my pupper at my wedding. He died tragically shortly after too.

I just don't see the point. Dogs are cool but at the end of the day it's a dog... And you're having a wedding. You invite your dog to your Briss and Bar Mitzvah too?

What's the deal with this trend of marriagecels who constantly speak on behalf of both parties of the marriage when only 1 of them is speaking and the other is at work/taking a dump in the other room/etc.? I got no issues with you, you're cool man. But that is some cringe city stuff, mane. Cut that chit out.

Dogs and cats are part of the family my dude, and LOL yes my parents did have the family pets all about at my Bar Mitzvah. Lots of kids running around and playing with the dogs, like at our wedding, and the cats all spying on the action from hiding spots enjoying themselves. You guys hating on pets are way too angry. They are lovable AF.

I don’t have a problem when I see a pet on wedding pictures, the issue begins when you make owning a pet, your entire personality. Cringe af
