Legit doesn't work your back at all LOL. Fully an arm exercise. Yet I see so many rtards doing it.

One of the best back exercises there is if you can actually engage the target muscles and use them to move the weight. It's great because you can hit different parts of your back depending on how you do them and which muscles you focus on during the movement. I also find them to be more effective when you do them like this

I’ve been lifting for 15 years and can say dumbbell rows is probably the hardest movement to learn there is.
I would say for the majority bent over barbell rows are superior because you don’t have to focus 1/10th of what you have to do on one arm rows
I’d say 95% of people on an average a day don’t do single arm dumbbell rows proper
