Rate my air fried pork tenderloin

Doing some meal prep for tomorrow. 1.25 pound pork tenderloin and I’ll eat it separately in 4 meals with some collards, small potatoes and some broccoli. The pork was marinated in olive oil, fresh garlic, S&P, fresh basil and oregano. Then I seasoned it with more garlic but powder and sweet paprika.

Time/temp in the AF? Looks damn good.

I usually marinate mine in a Dijon/lemon juice mixture. Can’t beat pork tenderloin when it comes to price.

Seems like common sense, but stuff on the top will cook more than if you put on a lower shelf. Even if following proper cook times you can’t leave something on the top the whole time or it will be more done than you want.

Do not overcrowd your AF.

Pizza is almost better leftover in the AF then fresh. If you are going to air fry and not use the reheat function, go at a very low temp for a very short amount of time or you will ruin the piece of pie.

Honestly they’re easy to use. Make sure you add a little oil or spray to things you want to crisp. Any fried recipes should carry over except temp and time. But Google can help that.

Looks a lot like my own meal prep. Good job, OP. Lean meats, when marinated + cooked well, can be really juicy and full of flavor.

das it bro I buy those at my local pubix all the time. I usually sous vide them then char the chit out of the outside but I been wanting to crank up my new air fryer and I think you just convinced me. Those look good.

Sounds like a nice approach. I've cut them into chunks using kitchen shears, marinating them in a mixture of lemon juice, a bit of oil, and various spices depending on the recipe I have in mind, and then grilling them on the BBQ. Ultra moist and juicy. Staple cut meal along with chicken breast prepped in a similar way.

Do it man. I used to brown and bake or grill them but the air fryer is just too easy.

I love it when those tenderloins go bogo at Publix. I buy a ton and freeze some. The really big ones at Costco are even better.

Yeah it’s a really versatile meat and you can often find two for one/buy one get one deals on it. Cook it whole, cut into chops, or small chunks for stir fry. Really don’t know why it isn’t more popular given the price

yeah sous vide is great for pork cause you want it tender but you sure as chit don't want to undercook it either. I cook it whole then slice it into probably 1/2-1inch thick slices to eat. Alot of times just do salt and pepper but then make sauces. red wine and mushroom sauce really good on pork tenderloin.

Both my freezers are literally graveyards for frozen lean meats lol

Gotta take advantage of pissening sales.

If you guys want a really good pork tenderloin rub, try a mix of honey and harissa. Sweet and spicy. It’s absolutely delicious. In the air fryer the sugars create a nice crust on top. Be careful with the amount of harissa, it’s potent.
