To think they had the greatest pro wrestling ever. It was as stiff and realistic as wrestling ever was, without actually being real.
Rikidozan founded wrestling in Japan following WW2.
He trained future hall of gamers Giant Baba and the man who fought Muhammad Ali - Antonio inoki.
Baba then started his own wrestling career and promotion called AJPW.
Inoki had a stealler career and he too started his own promotion NJPW.

In a roundabout way Antonio inoki is credited for being responsible for the creation of mma. He was the first mind in wrestling to hold “fixed” fights featuring martial artists and wrestlers of different backgrounds facing off. He booked some exciting cards doing so. Way before ufc, pride, pancrase, etc. even existed.

Antonio inoki is also the man who held the card that had largest crowd ever at s wrestling show. 190k members in the audience 2 nights in a row, during a 2 night event.
Larger than hulk hogan vs. Andre the giant at wrestlemania 3.

But now I don’t know if I mirin’ the orient as much despite their rich history and culture .

I assume out of 100 people, some have had one booster while others may have had five or six boosters.

Either way Japan can't afford to kill off anymore people or no one will be left.

I’m mirin Japan HARD in a lot of ways.

But this sure as fuk ain’t one of them.

A ton of East Asian countries are still in full potato mode with Covid. I saw a video from Hong Kong the other day where they STILL required a rapid test and proof of vax+boost to enter a fkin grocery store. Everyone was wearing masks outside too srs.

I was in Toronto, Cucknada last month and even there nowhere did I see mask or vax checks. Sad that it’s still mass hysteria in otherwise alpha Japan.

Uhhh no. You started out with a completely flawed approach. They aren’t “doing well” with booster compliance. They’re averaging less than 2 boosters per person. At this point in the game they should be up to at least four or five. Not surprised they’re doing so poorly tbh.

Meanwhile I've basically forgotten that Covid even exists. If people around here get sick & go to urgent care/doctors office they refuse covid tests now. Maybe .5% of our population wear masks now.
