It all stems from their handling of covid, where the people who should understand biology, viruses, and health statistics better than anyone else decided to succumb to the hysteria and stop admitting patients. And then they decided to double down on mandating vaccines for what remained of their overworked staff.

I personally know a couple nurses and 2 heads of nursing who quit because of that. Well one ended up early retiring.
