work going well

-got obliterated by my boss in my 1:1 with him today
-company wide layoffs been going on since Nov - feels like im next fr
-just ran the worst customer meeting of the past 12 months today, with my boss in attendance (ded fkn Srs)

without going into too much detail - just basically ignoring how completely fuked up my territory / list of customers is and saying "make it happen".

he's just doing his job, he has to be a good company guy an ddrink the koolaid.


The meeting wasn't atrocious - but in sales its the type of thing where you get an exec or VP in a meeting, and you're trying to lightly uncover priorities or present a POV around what their peers / competitors are doing and care about. The customer basically gave me dismissive 1 or 2 word answers, creating a pretty awkward scenario. It happens. But this happening right after a really bad 1:1 with him, just horrible timing lol (ded fkn Srs)

haven't drank since early December because the stress has been so bad that the alcohol just exacerbates it lol. i feel good for a few hours when drunk but then feel worse. prob not gonna drink until i get the work situation sorted (ded fkn Srs)
