Friend of mine hides from his wife that he plays videogames this normal?

He’s 25 recently got married and hits me up in weird hours to play videogames together. He leaves work early then lies to his wife about where he is

But we are playing games(not every day like once or twice a week) and he said he cant tell her because only loser play videogames. His wife dont even know he enjoys playing games

I told him that hes a pussy and he should tell his wife he likes playing games and to bring his pc to his house but he keeps it at his dads house.


He tells me thats what being married is like

Is this true? You have to sneak around to do something you enjoy lmao

Thats why you gotta date or marry a woman below your league, a woman with less SMV than you. You can play videogames, go out with friends, play sports, spend money on yourself etc, and she cant say **** because she knows deep down you are better than her (srs).

You ever play Portal and look at yourself through 2 portals? That's what a woman is. Sometimes they want to become your "partner" (like duo queuing in Fortnite). Often they want to live with you, kind of like bitch wife.
Sometimes they will want to have sex too. That's like a quick time where you have to keep button spamming till you cross the win threshold and then you get a cutscene like in the GTA strip clubs.
The downside is the **** ton of money you'll spend on cosmetics and loot boxes for her, like microtransactions.
Also, sometimes they'll start queing with another guy or will uninstall the game.

its true, I did this. Happily married with no issues. Ive also been on the other side of the coin and whenever we would get into a fight, "well there is heaps of guys that want me now i can do better" always comes out.

my friend's wife didn't like him playing video games all the time, but i think she eventually realized she would rather he stay at home playing video games with the guys than him going out to the bars with the guys where women are hitting on him. So now anytime we talk about going out she will mention "i thought you guys were going to stay in and just play video games? why do you need to go out?"

If he’s hiding some like that he’s hiding much more to try and be someone he’s not.

Liking video games is something a ton of me. Like. It’s the generation of Nintendo and up since then.

They’re will be 70 yr olds still playing video games in the next few decades. It’s one thing to do it all day long but it’s like any other entertainment.

Video game culture is weird nowadays. My coworker plays in the living room, while his son plays in the bed room. Same console, same game, sometimes same lobby. They literally go in different rooms to play together
