Trump’s ******** and Instagram ban to be lifted, Meta announces.

“In a highly anticipated decision, Meta has said it will allow Donald Trump back on ******** and Instagram following a two-year ban from the platforms over his online behavior during the 6 January insurrection.
Meta will allow Trump to return “in coming weeks” but “with new guardrails in place to deter repeat offenses”, Meta’s president of global affairs Nick Clegg wrote in a blogpost explaining the decision.”

This. I don't use twitter or any other social media bullchit, either. Used to check Trump's twitter ramblings without ever making an account there, because it was pretty funny a lot of the time. Dude is being ridiculous now by continuing to hold out posting there. I mean, ofc he didn't want to seem desperate and post too fast after Musk unbanned him, but at this point the moment has already kinda passed for his glorious return to twitter. Yeah he'll be back posting there at some point, but as with everything about Trump the past few years, his timing is absolute dogchit.
