Rate my Friday cocktail /10

1.5 oz reposado tequila Ocho
0.5 oz mezcal Creyente
1 barspoon of agave syrup
2 dashes of angostura bitters

I want to get into tequila.
What are the best sipping tequila's in the $20-30 range and $30-40 range?
I want to try Don Julio and Clase someday.
We had a tequila bar here in Seattle, but it closed because of Covid lockdowns.

Sipping tequila at 20-30 is going to be hard. You can try Fortaleza which is incredible, tequila Ocho is amazing, especially the reposado, tequila Tears of Llorons. El Tequileno is really good as well, those can be found in the upper 40s-60s range and are legit additive free proper tequila.

I have had 1942, clase Azul really good stuff, but they have a lot of artificial flavor added to make it smooth which they are but takes away value, especially at 150+ price point.
