Almost no one does because none of us actually see the violence and it is so far out of the realm of our reality.

As humans we are not meant to be flooded with horror from around the world and expected to have emotional connection to it.

People should really be focusing on their localized areas. The fact that people don't is why things are crumbling around everyone. They rather virtue signal online about a death 8 hours of flight away than make sure their child isn't getting sexualized and propagandized in real time, or create protections for their local neighborhoods. It's a lazy mans way of feeling like they care when they change their social media pics to a ukraine flag.

Exactly this. I don't think we should be involved. Ukraine wasn't ever our ally. We all know it's jsut to destroy Russia which I really don't understand how they are our enemy but yet somehow China isn't. We honstly should have already attacked China a while ago.

The only nation we should go all in for is the UK. The UK has had our backs. They didn't agree with us going into Iraq, but once we did they came and helped. 9-11 UK was right there. The other NATO countries did the bare minimum and even sided with the enemy by criticising us trying to ride both sides of the fense. An attack on one is an attack on all, whatever happened to that?

One thing that got me was reading about how when it comes to supplying the Ukrainian troops one of the top items are cigarettes because so many of them smoke and smoke so much that they have to have cigs to function. Typical eastern european slavs. Boht Russia and Ukraine have this problem. Note how almost every requirement they always mention drunkenness. It's a serious issue over there. To be fair alcohol consumption and military service go hand in hand but some places it's just out of control.
