I always think of how if Lockdown had been implemented earlier, he, his daughter, and the rest of the passengers + pilot would have been saved.

I can't imagine what must have been going through their minds when that plane was going down.

I read the autopsy report and everyone was decapitated.

Life is cruel and unpredictable.
it's better to suck dink than to be killed

"My outer appearance was poor, but in this way my inner world became richer than anyone else's. Was it not natural that a young boy who suffered from an indelible drawback like mine should have come to think that he was a secretly chosen being? I felt as though somewhere in this world a mission awaited me of which I myself still knew nothing." --Yukio Mishima

Has any other celeb/athlete of his caliber ever gone out so brutally? The closest I can think of is maybe Steve McNair. Shot to death by his girlfriend

Who cares, he was retired. Better people die everyday without getting to live the life he had.

Sometimes instant death is better than being paralyzed like Michael Schumacher or Christopher Reeve.

I mean, it is marginally better than losing your mind over a violent drug addict dying in police custody.

I hate flying.. but had to fly from US to UK many many times over the years

I'd never get in a helicopter IDGAF

Was a rich Football club owner who also died around similar time as Kobe

Probably an irrational fear but still

Plane or nothing for me

Same brah. Irrational fear of flying checking in. It consumes me before every flight. Funny enough I was boarding a commercial flight when news of Kobe’s death broke. The girl behind me was like “omg Kobe Bryant just died in a plane crash!”

I wanted to turn around and tell her to shut the fuk up. I was already unnerved. Then when we landed I read it was a helicopter. Fkin tragic R.I.P.

I would NEVER step foot on a helicopter or a small single engine plane like those rich hobbyist pilots fly. A developer in my area crashed into the Caribbean with his wife on one of those things a few years ago and another famous lawyer crashed into a field after losing control of one of those tiny death traps.

I would barely even trust a private jet because at least with the big airlines there’s major liability. I wish America had extensive high speed rail like the golden bulls.
