I knew it sounded familiar.

She basically stole the melody from Bruno Mars' When I Was Your Man. I read that it was a response to her ex Liam. Don't care. But I'm just saddened by the state of the music industry.




Chris Brown may be a woman beater, but at least he's one of the few still making good r&b music.

Yes it does. The chorus of Flowers uses the same melody in the Bruno Mars song. Look at the comments on the video I posted. It just reaffirmed my suspicions. I'm not pulling this out of thin air. Miley might have done it on purpose though because it's being reported that her ex had some kind of connection to the Bruno Mar song, etc. I don't want to delve into it because I don't care. And this was her response. How it affects any kind of laws, etc, I have no idea.

But if you enjoy the song, then that's great. I personally find it generic and uninspired like most music these days.
