Anyone else think travelling is overrated?

As I get older (Late 20s now) I see travel as more a way of unecessary expensive escapism.

I've already moved continents. Its amazing living in Asia. But now I rather spend my money on hobbies like sports, post grad college and food to promote gains.

I've got literally 5 weeks annual leave banked up and have no idea how to spend it.

just took a week off just waking up late, cleaning up the house, lifting, tennis lessons, going on dates and studying. Haven't felt more at peace.

Anyone else feel this way? So many sloots on the dating apps + drones literally make travelling their whole mo.

Traveling with your family and making timeless memories is great.

Traveling alone is cope.

I've been to almost 50 countries and smashed dope foreign chicks in a good amount of them. Not overrated in the least unless you don't like leaving your house or doing/trying/seeing/tasting/smashing different things

Went on a cruise this past June and it was amazing. We were a party of 8 and celebrating a bunch of birthdays. Was just incredible and now I want to travel a lot more as I really never have before.

Lots of people travel because they think by going to a different place, they will be different people.

It's the wrong motivation. It should be about embracing new cultures and/or memories with family and friends.

Hell yeah brah, get after it!

My main reason for loving travel is to get away from work and responsibilities even if only for a short while. That's when you truly feel "free". Land in a foreign country then turn your phone off and do whatever your heart desires HNNNNNNG

Took my 1st real trip to somewhere "Different" in 2019. Been trying to do 1-2 every year since.

It's nice to experience the "Life" people live in other places. Not to mention seeing cool old stuff is a big motivator for me. Makes me feel more connected to being a human instead of a wage slave. Along with cool memories with the lady of course.
