Contractors - question
Is it rude to be making food and they are working on my house -- just one room away? Should I offer them some?
I know they can smell it. I feel bad but it's really awkward to offer them food when they are working. They might have brought their own, too.
What do, misc?

No. It's your home, and their job site. End of story. No need to complicate it any further than that.

I've offered food and drink in the past for people doing work at my house. Just being polite and even if they don't take it they do appreciate the offer.
