This. Right now neither party formally is a pacifist party. I'd say the most peaceful side right now is ironically the GOP because there is a wing of people who are antiwar there. Among dems, it's really just Bernie and some of the progressives, but they have all been silenced. The GOP still has some voices of dissent against war.

Personally, I support Tulsi Gabbard.

Figured. There's no liberal or conservative going "let's just love each other". That's why I dont get why Christianity goes to the conservative.

My guess would be because Christianity is about morals and the left has none.

Plus Christianity instructs people to love the sinner and hate the sin, whereas today’s left encourages people to love the sin.



But yes this, like everything else is just broad generalizations. People can be conservative in most areas and still support lots of degeneracy while some liberals can be against all types of immoral and harmful things. Generally speaking though the left is a much more powerful force of promoting harmful actions and ideologies, the worst of which probably being victim mentality.

I don't know if a pacifist could be republican, but I know they definitely couldn't be a democrat, they're obsessed with confrontation and creating conflict.

It really wasn't always like this. During the Bush years, it was common for Dems to have antiwar voices like Tulsi, Bernie, and Dennis Kucinich. And then, somehow, things changed. Suddenly the dems were supporting the patriot act, intel agencies, and intervention in Libya and Syria. Hillary strongly influenced dem foreign policy and the reinforcement of the security state. Remember that while you guys call Biden a progressive, and he has put forth a modestly progressive agenda compared to prior leaders, he is actually a neocon, and so is Hillary. The neocon grip on our foreign policy is absolute. It's why they destroyed dissenting voices or crushed them into submission.

Both sides have small factions of people that are anti-war in politics. During the GWB years, it was the Ronpologists. Ron Paul was silenced much like Bernie.

Strong neither. Both parties at their core are basically war criminals.

There are holdouts in both parties who talk against it and both parties treat them more or less like pariahs for not sucking MIC dick.

Green or LOLbertarian Party would be the way to go.Don't worry, the GOP will 100% turn to pro-war if they ever get the reigns back. Unquestionably, not even the smallest hint of a chance they might actually buck it.

I like Tulsi, too. I do not trust a grifter like Bernie, he got cucked by two obese black women, no chance he'd have ever stood up to the MIC, he'd been Obama 2.0 -- all talk and then green lighting bombs like no tomorrow while the (mainstream) left cheered.

Yeah apparently all it took for democrats to abandon everything they stood for was getting big corporations to side with them. They are no longer a party of the people, they represent elite interests.
