As i was reading, a big problem anymore is that many news outlets now report on anonymous sources. In the past that was rare. Now it is all to common for some news outlets.

A lot of finance news is written by bots and then published after editors make final tweaks. It is why comment sections have become important. Unfortunately you are now seeing comment sections turned off or shilled/botted whatever you want to call it.
