Pros and cons of not taking days off from weight training?
I know a guy on ******** who claims to not take any days off from weight training. He’s won at least one show as a natty.
I’m considering following in his path, what are the pros and cons of not taking days off from weight training?

i've done periods.
pros:
good routine
good progress
cons:
life is work and gym thats it
lower energy because body is permanently in full repair mode
I'd rather work out 5 days per week, and spend the other two in the gym but only 30-40 mins for core and stretching

Recently started taking a day off a week and have noticed improvements physique wise already. might incorporate a second
I hate taking days off from the gym but your body needs it and you grow most on these days. theres a reason why everyone pro takes atleast 2 days off a week
before the pandemic I was legit 7 years without a rest day

on a more interesting note, what's it like having a cane corso. I'm stuck between that or a GS, but I may also get one of each (sloots)

a corso has the potential to be an extremely dangerous dog. would make a vicious pitbull seem like a joke. 140 plus pounds of animal with more bite force than a male lion. they take tonnes of training and aren't suited for people who just want a dog on a casual basis or to impress chicks. this might sound like an exaggeration but when we met our breeder he made sure to emphasis that if our dog attacks someone best case scenario is loss of limb and they don't take kind to strangers.

I ask mainly because there's practically a cult behind Cane Corsos. People who have them LOVE them.
I'm not set on any breed of dog specifically. Temperament of a GS may suit me better, and mixing breeds may make life quite difficult - at least with two breeds that are both quite dominant.

@ OP
if you want to make it to the gym 7xweek I recommend this or similar:
1 Chest, Back (superset all the way through)
2 Arms, cardio (superset all the way through)
3 Core, cardio
4 Legs, shoulders (i tend to go easy on anterior delts so it doesn't affect my bench)
Repeat
8-day span, you hit all major groups twice, core twice, cardio 4 times.
but it's rough

Pros:
If you enjoy lifting it’ll give you something to do every day.
Cons: Don’t care who you are or what you’re on. Eventually you will get sick of it and burnt out.
I prefer the 5 day bro split.
For those bros on the bro split. How many days a week do you do cardio a week?
I feel 5 is too much and 3 is just about right.

I went from working out 6 days a week to 4 with hardly any cardio, and I’ve gotten stronger and leaner. I’m also not getting weird joint pain. (Ded fkn Srs)

if you want to make it to the gym 7xweek I recommend this or similar:
1 Chest, Back (superset all the way through)
2 Arms, cardio (superset all the way through)
3 Core, cardio
4 Legs, shoulders (i tend to go easy on anterior delts so it doesn't affect my bench)
Repeat
8-day span, you hit all major groups twice, core twice, cardio 4 times.
but it's rough

I prefer the 5 day bro split.
For those bros on the bro split. How many days a week do you do cardio a week?
I feel 5 is too much and 3 is just about right.
