Best LED TV?

It's time for a new TV for my living room and I'm leaning towards getting a Sony x90k. For a while I thought I'd get an LG C2 but I think that there's just too much light on the main floor and that an OLED panel won't be bright enough. If anyone has an OLED can you comment?

Any suggestions for an LED TV? I'm aiming for 75".

Ive had a 55" LG C1 for a year and a half now.

OLED is so worth it. Just buy blackout curtains if you're that concerned.

OLEDs come with factory settings that dim the picture because of energy efficiency requirements. But you can turn those efficiency features off to get the most brightness out of them.

The superb viewing angles and deep blacks are enough for me to get over the "dimness". Also most of my TV viewing is in the evenings anyway as I'm usually too busy during the day.

LG OLEDs also have all four ports that are HDMI 2.1. Other televisions only have one or two.

Yeah if you have alot of light, go for QLED. The brightness is what you'll be looking for. I have one for my living room which has light, I'd not want my C2 OLED in there. I got the Samsung QN90A, I suggest you go for that one, it's pretty amazing and not far off from the OLED in black levels tbh.

I have an Oled C9 ... I cant go back to any other tvs. Yes, oled is definitely better if you have a darker room because when it does get quite reflective in a brighter room, or if sun hits the screen, but sun is the worst, lights aren't too bad. Still for me though I have curtains and stuff, so its not too big an issue. Despite all that, the picture quality is just sublime and beats any other tv other than a higher end tv imo.


Perhaps the newer oleds have minimized this issue, so i'd look into an oled.


But if its still an issue, go for sony/samsung variants I guess, they're generally quite good.

X95K is the clear winner right now, but 2023 TVs which will be hitting the market soon will be a major step forward. Personally I am just gonna wait, but I already have a pretty capable 4k bright HDR set.

Don't go OLED unless you are a basement dweller. ******t light kills the contrast advantage OLEDs have.
