and it's a pretty stupid approach considering how addictive nicotine is

the two times I quit were with chantix (rip that pulled that chit recently lol) and vapes. With the vapes I just weened myself off.

Yes. I only smoked 2-3 packs a week, so it wasn't hard. Keep yourself busy while you're quitting and it isn't that bad.

Not cigarettes, but vapes.

It sucked for a month to six weeks or so but eventually wore off. IMO the only way to do it. Relapsing a few times isn’t the end of the world it’s expected, not all is lost just stay the course.

I don’t think trading cigs for vaping or gum or anything else is even worth the trouble because you’re just trading one addiction for another. You’re rewarding yourself when you should be quitting.. but hey, it has worked for some people and more power to them.
