Question for all who hate Putin, Xi, Modi, etc

How many of you have ever watched any full length speeches or read the official rhetoric of these foreign leaders?

I suspect the vast majority of Americans, if they are being honest with themselves, have never once attempted to sit down and really try to understand the rhetoric of the bogeymen they oppose. We are told daily of how "evil" these regimes are, but not once does our "free press" ever present their views unedited to the people. Instead, we get soundbites taken out of context and commentary from elites handpicked by the security state.





Good luck finding anything from Modi in English.

How can we judge their ideology if we aren't even allowed to hear about it?

The security state lies to us. They vilify foreign countries to justify capitalist imperial exploitation of their resources and the subjugation of their people in the name of American hegemony.

although i disagree with your assertions about hitler, I do agree on how cringe it is seeing fellow right wingers side with Putin. Tbh, i havnt really heard anyone outside of Q people praise Xi in anyway though.

Putin got my attention when he made that assembly speech to McCain, Lieberman, and crew about the Iraq war which Putin was cool with Bush up until we invaded. Ever since then when we saw he does not have democracy in his heart I’ve paid attention.

I thought Modi was kind of an ally to the west at least in a war against China. Aren’t India and China enemies? They have fought been at war snd still have border disputes including a recent skirmish that left 19 Indians and 4 Chinese soldiers dead.

Putin is hardly a conservative hero. The only thing he sides with conservatives on is LGBT stuff, and even then, it's mild opposition to gay marriage because he cannot force it upon all of Russia (Russia is like 1/5 Muslim). The man seeks to build a welfare state and openly says so.

Nobody is disputing that America is a superior country. What I am asking is if people even hear out the leaders of govts they hate so much. I think if people are honest with themselves, they only know what our pundits tell them about these people.

Perhaps most disappointing is the way Xi is portrayed in our press. It seems like Americans have no concept of Xi's true ideology and instead simply hear projections of Hitler or something onto Xi. They assume China is some fascist cesspit when the US is closer to fascism than China. People really grossly misunderstand the foreign policy of other nations. It's actually a mindfuk.

For all the fears of "Chinese Aggression", the US has 800+ foreign bases. China has like one.

And Putin is doing in Ukraine what we essentially did or tried to do to Cuba. Neither of them is shockingly irrational and a global menace on par with Hitler.

Compared to what? Stalin was a harsh POS, but he was also an incredibly effective leader. In fact, he was probably the greatest world leader in the last 100 years. If you just look at numbers and ignore emotion, it is undeniable.

But for people who actually give a chit about the overarching mission for humanity, Stalin was a highly effective leader. Contrary to what you may think, freedom is not necessary for a civilization. It's a luxury. The evidence for this is that the overwhelming majority of civilizations in human history were not free societies. Yet they endured, and approximately half of the world is still not free. Freedom is great, but it isn't the best metric by which to judge political leaders.

Russia was never a chithole, except when the reds killed the tsar and started a civil war. So yeah, Stalin was best Soviet leader, but he most Tsars were better than him. Russia was greaet power for centuries before stalin, and Stalin just fixed what Lenin broke. And created other problems as well.

Stalin was better than the Tsars. He educated his people and modernized Russia. By his death, Russia was a nuclear superpower. He also inspired workers' rights all over the world though Lenin was far more instrumental in this. Stalin's rapid industrialization of Russia was legendary. And it was exactly what they needed to survive WW2 and become a lasting power.
