Sometimes when I’m grocery shopping the lil munchkins will be running around and **** and reminds me of when I was small and it makes me happy (srs) so I smile at them if they are directly in my path and then the parents makes that face like “sorry” and u just say no worries or whatever

I found that before I became a father, being around small children made me uncomfortable. I just didn't have a frame of reference for interacting with them. After becoming a father and spending time around other parents and their kids at the playground, etc., there is certainly a right way to go about interacting with others' kids that doesn't make people uneasy or protective.

A coworker brought her 9 year old daughter to work a few times. Long story short the girl followed me around and of course I cracked some jokes and stuff dont want to be an ass. Have some fun. Be nice.

Then one day she walks into my working place and walks towards me. Hugs my legs. Looks up to me and calls me dad. That was such a weird moment. I dont have kids and never got called dad.

Kinda sad also becaue obviously the girl had no dad. Well later then she started to touch my ass that was when I made clear i want to be left alone lol

5 feet away, hands visible at all times. Random kids approach all the time when I have the dogs out in public. I am very paranoid srs.
