What are the best ones out right now?

Airpods are good with calls and don't sound bad, you'll also wear the hip & trendy thing I guess. Bonus since you use an iphone and all
If you just care about the music, you can get the seinnheiser buds for 200 and if you want noise cancelling the sony WF-1000XM4 250+ sound great and have really good noise cancellation. I have the sony's, once you replace the ear tips with rubber ones and set the EQ to what you like they're excellent.
If you want to keep it cheap and good, anker makes probably the best bang for your buck options.
