Guys, get on a skincare routine (SRS)

A simple skincare routine where you clean, moisturize and protect.

The routine
1. CeraVe: Hydrating Cleanser (clean)
2. CeraVe: Facial Moisturising Lotion AM SPF50 (morning) and CeraVe: Facial Moisturising Lotion PM (night) (moisturize and protect)

Two products at a time, morning moisturizer contains sunscreen (sunscreen is a must for every routine to avoid aging-effects from the sun)

It's worth it brahs.

you're already ahead of the majority of the population brah. what about a cleanser at the start to get rid of the leftover spf, oil and other dirt that water can't get?

I may look into adding a face external routine. Got none at this time because I find that all this is irrelevant if diet isn’t right. In fact chemicals on face and spending money may hurt, not help.

What improves skin is not eating dairy, sugar, no smoking or alcohol. Keto diet helps. Collagen supplementation. Sleep. Lots of olive oil, avocado, and fish oil. 3 liters of water. No coffee.

Your skin products should be 100% organic and 100% natural. And no plastic containers when possible.

I’m extremely oldcel and get compliments daily on looking 20 years younger and particularly skin wise. I do also take many supplements and limit sun exposure and put natural sunblock on face (and body when swimming in the ocean)

I used to dabble with moisturisers years ago, but honestly I’ve found the best “skin care” routine is simply working out, eating healthy, avoiding processed junk and drinking a lot of water and green tea

I have great skin and I attribute it mostly to the above factors. I haven’t moisturised in years.

Moisturizer makes my face look greasy. It isn't even skin care, it's just like make up. I do use SPF though.

tl:dr

choose option 1 and you're ahead of 99% of the population, and make sure it has SPF50 in it

Option 1

Option 2
1. The Ordinary: Squalane Cleanser (clean)
2. Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (treats all sorts of skins, i.e. dry, flakey, oily, those small dots you may have etc., perfect 'all rounder' serum.)
3. Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA (moisturize)
4. La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible Fluid Sun Cream SPF50+ (protect)

Start with option 1 which is cheap and costs like $20, then move onto option 2 once you want to treat something specific, eg if you have dry and flakey skin, there's vitamin B5 which you'd put instead of the serum above etc.

It's worth it brahs.

And don't forget sunscreen, most important product in every routine, the sun makes your face age quickly.
Meh, i just stay inside on the computer all day. No need for cancer causing sunblock

I don't either and I look young AF. I'm 36 but could easily pass for mid 20s.

I'd say the only things I could contribute it to is:
-Genetics.
-No alcohol/tobacco/drug use
-Only drink small amounts of fountain drinks and mainly drink water. (No coffee/tea).

Just started basic moisturizer + sunscreen AM, cleanser in the shower, and moisturizer PM routine. Also use an eye cream AM and PM as well.
