Epic guitar solos?

I've heard the studio version of this song a million times. It's a shame the live version doesn't get as much love.

Solo from ~3 to 6.

I've always been a V guy.

Mustaine got me into guitar playing. The Randy Rhodes style V is way more comfortable to play in classical position. I had one of his ESPs, they were sick.

Hell yea, great start to the thread with some live BOC! That album is awesome.
The outro solo from the same live album on Don't Fear the Reaper is fantastic as well

could post a million classic rock solos, but I'm just listening to an older Darkness track, and the outro solo on this song is dope, and not one you hear 1000x on the radio

outro solo starts just after 4:30

I'm not a big fan of theirs. I just know this song from the Heavy Metal cartoon soundtrack. This, Godzilla and Don't fear the reaper are the only ones I really can recall.

While this remastered version isn't quite the same as the cd concert version, still one of the best solos that I'm aware of.

Second solo at 4:40

Master of Puppets, to me, is their peak.
MoP is their best song 100% but I like AJFA overall more than MoP the album.

There's just something so gritty/raw about RTL.

Opening solo of this was cool

I wasn't a big fan when they came out. Thrash was kinda trash metal. When they slowed it down a little on Justice I thought they sounded much better. Then they took it too far and went MTV pop music on the black album. Can't really blame them. Ozzie and RHCP did the same thing. Everyone went pop and made bank. Hair band love ballads ruled the radio.

Steely Dan, David Gilmour, Pink Floyd, Clapton, Dire Straits, but ill leave two videos here that are lesser known

Zappa ****ing shreds

And this is three of the greatest artists from the era each soloing guitar, bass and drum for almost 15 minutes.

live version of hold the line from their heyday. bonus: Steve is playing his 59. Don't see many of those actually played nowadays since they're worth too much$$$ to tour with.
