Gotta love Maryland Democrats

Proposed bill would prevent anyone under 25 with being charged with felony murder

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — In Maryland, felony murder occurs when someone is killed while a felony crime, like robbery is being committed.

For example, a getaway driver hits and kills a pedestrian while fleeing the scene of a crime, they are guilty of felony murder, under current law.

Democratic Delegate Charlotte Cruchfield is looking to change that with her Youth Accountability and Safety Act, House Bill 1180.

Specifically, Delegate Crutchfield wants that to apply to anyone under the age of25.

not saying I would agree with it, but you know naming it Youth Accountability and Safety Act sorta has the impression is supposed to be for youths, not a 25-year-old.

I think this law should be more inclusive and equitable and propose that everyone born in odd years be allowed to murder people born in even years on odd days of the month and everyone born in even years be allowed to murder people born in odd years on even days of the month. No murders on Christmas day and Juneteenth but on February 29th you can murder anyone for any reason as long as you use a wooden shoe.
