Why do Liberals always parrot the media and never have any original talking points?

I don't think they know why or how they do anything. Can you imagine living your life like that? Zero self awareness.

Many are not strong critical thinkers. They let others do their thinking for them, in this case the state media and the Democratic Party. There are some on the right like this as well, but generally only on the far extreme right, part of leaning right is this idea of self-responsibility and taking ownership for your own life, which promotes more critical thinking.

Liberals tend to be more collectivists, which is less about the individual, so they don't think like that as often. Either by being that way to start with and gravitating towards an ideology that supports their views, or by being a part of that group which inhibits the growth of critical thinking.

Conservatives want to believe they are thinking critically, and like the idea of self responsibility and taking ownership for your own life.

Five times out of seven the result of that supposed critical thinking is simply "what's with liberals?!?" and then one by one people line up to repeat some version of "liberals are unaware NPC's". See this thread as an example.
