Serious question about the Xbox series S

When games release games on PC, they are designed to run on many different hardware combos, and have loads of settings, low, medium, high, ultra, this that the other.

Why can't they just have an xbox series S mode on the games they release that runs at like medium setting or whatever?

Because its so chit it cant even run on low settings so they have to completely redesign games and downgrade their ideas to fit the scope of the poverty S

I have an OG XBox One from the very first release date, I purchased an XboxX and could not tell the difference, srs. Kept switching between both and even asked the wife to come in and see if the X looked better, she said the old one looked better. Granted it was an open box item from BestBuy, so maybe it was fuked up, but I returned it. I'll pick up the X when my Xbox quits out on me.

Eh, it's kind of like how forspoken couldn't run well on any console.

My buddy spent $160 on a Xbox one S and brought it over to play Forza Horizon 5. I have a series X and we were each using our own tv side by side. I couldn't tell any difference besides a little bit of loading time. I was staring hard at the pixels trying to figure out why I spent $500 on it but if you asked anyone which looks better, they would say they're the same.

Dang. THat's ridiculous. I know the quality of the HDMI cable can make a difference, so perhaps that was my issue, but I was trying to compare everything. Games, YT videos, blu-ray..couldn't tell a difference at all.

But I do like the feel of the new smaller controller..but that is not worth $500

That is what they do when dropping res isn’t enough. A plague tale requiem drops a couple setting down. But runs and looks great

Same with flight sim.

Interdasting. This compares last gen and current Xbox’s

Forza horizon 6 will probably be amazing looking built for current gen only

I impulse bought a Series S on black friday and couldn't be happier with it srs. The haters think it must be a garbage product due to the price but I'm not seeing any issues with any game I've played so far.

Nothing worng. The S is equivalent to a gtx 1650 which can still play newer games at medium to high settings.
Fk the Good Poster Crew (Lockdev, Pink, Kimm, Wasps, Expatriot, Mulloway, Luc1fer, Smallpeter, gwg, Super Hercules, Bonobo, maori-rap, Based Bagel, ezmac31, Goobaa, Godfrd and many more). You know who you are.

Either one or both TVs aren't fully next gen compatible or just trash quality, or you were sitting too far away to appreciate the performance.

Lmfao the Xcels are delusional these days. Can PS5/SeX even play medium settings? Series S isn't even close.

I think both consoles are still medium/high, but with a dynamic resolution.

Basically the Playstation fans here are a bunch of toxic losers with a demonic presence. That should tell you everything you need to know about them, and why you are better off just ignoring them because they never have anything of value to say. Listening to them literally makes you dumber.

If anybody has a problem with how you want to play video games, they're the one with the problem.

Heck I could tell a difference going from One X to Series X, especially when I got an OLED.

Well like I said, it was an "Open Box" buy from Best Buy, and maybe that's the reason it was returned. Was tired of waiting for a new one to come in, so I bought the used. Still waiting for a new one to come in, but my OG is running fine so it will do for now.
