Did he have a gun?

I didn't see one but it happened fast. The first officer seemed to be acting very well.
Having a gun is a constitutional right, just because they see a gun doesn't require the officers to shoot. But we all know "I feared for my life".

I think the officers did everything right, but it's an interesting case study. Personally I act normal for police and ask for permission to reach anywhere.

Texas requires every student to take a police protocol class in order to graduate. It teaches them how to handle themselves when stopped by a cop. They clearly didn't require this in his state.
