Watched this a week ago, it's one of the best discussions that I've ever seen. Gordon Murray is one of the greatest automotive designers of all time, none of those guys hold a candle to him and I say that with respect.

Best part about that video is how they're all fans of the combustion engine and don't want to get rid of it. Thought it was funny how Koenigsegg's son is a JDM fan and hates electric cars.

Combustion engines will probably eventually become like high end mechanical watches after quartz came out, awesome niche stuff for enthusiasts. Just imagine how much more they'll stand out too when most everyone is puttering around in silent EVs and you roll up with the automotive equivalent of a Patek Philippe in a roaring v8 or v12

Agreed for sure. Gordon is in another league and his accomplishments in both motorsports and street cars is unmatched by the others. John Hennessy shouldn’t even be sitting in the same zip code as the other guys up there with his history of lawsuits, ripping off customers, and almost no actual innovation.
