Need advice, Misc, my friend is wasting his life waiting for a broad
Misc, I have a friend who is in his 50's and has been long distance dating some caucasian broad from Africa, for the past 11 years or so.
He was all excited about it at first, telling me about her and how he sends her money and she plans on flying to see him soon. It repeated every few months and she'd have some reason to cancel their plans and ask him for money. She is about 15 years younger and I tried to tell him he's probably being love scammed, but he won't listen. Several money sending services blocked him and told him he was being scammed, but he's so far into it, he refuses to see reality. They have never met in person.
11 years later, he is still waiting for her. In that time I've bought 2 houses, gotten married and had children.
He is wasting his life waiting for a woman who probably doesn't exist, and barely talks about it now. Is there anything I can do for him, other than just listen to the stories?

You cannot convince simps to stop being simps
I have a Chad model friend who flies like every other week to see his ex who was diagnosed with bpd, super toxic relationship
No amount of lecturing will help that clown (I’ve tried)
He can go on hinge and get every girl in SoCal throwing themselves at him, but he’s a ****in simp for his ex
Crazy
Some people are just delusional

You tried and he doesnt want to listen. Screw it. You cant force people to open their eyes.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
