Authority figures who mistakenly think they have high IQs
I was in a program once, and the director of that program had a 115 IQ, and thought he was smarter than everyone else in that program. My IQ is 124.
He believes that people with brown skin can’t possibly have a higher IQ than him, proof that he wasn’t as smart as he thought he was. He didn’t know how to read a bell curve, he thought since most brown skins have lower IQs on average, that ALL brown skins must have lower IQs than him.
Have you ever had a supervisor or some other kind of superior who thought he was smarter than you for some reason, and he was wrong?

This basically is every female boss.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

I had a manager who couldn't be relied upon for any useful advice, assistance, answers to other questions. Yet they, along with other managers, were on the on-call rotation. Only if the current on-call was someone who actually worked down in the weeds (shift lead), would you feel reassured for that given day/week of competent or tangible assistance. The manager finished a PHD, and sent their dissertation to their team to 'mire. But was far removed from the actual work, and I know without a doubt they'd struggle to action on even the more basic items of work we did. I remember them saying that they plan to pay minimum payments on their student loans, and given the amount that it is, they'll die without even a significant dent made against it.
