10 was good because of the insane graphics for it's time. It really pushed the PS2 to it's limits. 12 was probably my favorite one due to combat and the bounty system. The enemies you could face like Gilgamesh, Yiamzat or the espers were awesome. So much content the actual story took a back seat.

Final fantasy these days have become much of a joke. Terrible combat, cringe storylines, lackluster enemies. Good luck with that chithole of a franchise.

12 Was just OK. Really felt like they had no idea what to do with it. It was sorta a 10 clone in gameplay and the story was just meh.

16 looks like another flop honestly, again it looks like they have no idea how to create a FF game. I get no sense of identity from this game. But I have a bit of hope considering how good FF14 story is.

Remake after missing them all except for 7 and 10. The connection just wasn’t there. Good for those who still enjoy them. And I just am not even curious how the franchise is doing now, I’d ask the experts about it but I don’t care enough to inquire.

Never finished a single FF game(srs). I played some JRPGs back in the day like Chrono Trigger, Shadow Hearts(love this game), Kingdom Hearts 1-2, and even Persona 4 a few years back, but overall, just not into it. Maybe I will give 7 remake a shot.

FF7 remake was an amazing game and you'd have to be a retard on willingly missing it out. It's one of the best action/rpg games released last gen and it's tremendous on PS5 with the upgrades.

Heres my profesional opinion. When I was a wee lil boy at gamestop, back when FF7 released, I was going to buy it, but some faagot was like oh no bad game, so I didnt. Back then all we had was word of mouth, So misseed out on that one.

FF8 was a great game, hnng the characters. FF9 was also great, I think I didnt even finish these because I was too young and stupid to finish.

FF10 was the goat. FF11 was also the goat for a MMRPG, Good memories for its time and it was pretty hard and grindy but fuk what else where we supposed to do in that time?

Tried FF14 online and it was just a watered down version of what I remembered FF11, everything was easy mode ,easy matmach making and fast travel. The greatness of the FF11 was that there was no fast travel and actually exploring the map with random noobies was fukin awesome, being some low level trying to get to the capital without the game holding your hand and knowing you could get wrecked at any moment was an experience. Especially for an MMORPG. Also you had to work to scout a decent team to go out since you had to be close in level and certain classes, was also an experience. Felt more rewardy when you formed the right party.

FF15 tried it but meh only spent a few hours on it. Lastly I finally got to play FF7 remake, it was fun, good game, but probably no where the experience of playing this on PS1 back when it released. Oh yeah must be because its only like 1 third of the game so far.
