ITT i will prove through Biblical sources that Jesus did NOT die on the cross (SRS)

The Bible proves that Jesus never died on the cross if you actually study it.

1. Jesus had prophesied that his fate would be like that of Jonah (the story of Jonah is one of survival).[Matt 12:40]

2. Jesus was placed on the cross for only a few hours. Death by crucifixion usually takes several days. While he was on the cross his legs were left intact, and not broken as was the normal procedure. This would have prevented death by respiratory distress. As blood and water were reported to have 'gushed' from the spear wound, this was sign of a beating heart.

3. Jesus prayed to be rescued from death on the cross. [Matt 21:22]

4. Pilate, having sympathy for Jesus, secretly devised to save him by setting his Crucifixion shortly before Sabbath day.

5. The Gospel of John records that Nicodemus brought myrrh and aloes [John 19:39]. These healing plants, particularly aloe plants, are considered medicinal and applied to wounds. It would make little sense applying them to a dead body.

6. According to the Bible "He that is hanged is accursed of God." [Deut 21:23]; something Paul imputed to Jesus.[Gal 3:13] However, since the word "curse" would signify a satanic connection, divine antipathy and displeasure, spiritual impurity, faithlessness and disobedience to God; Jesus' being from God and the beloved of God, does not allow for him to have become accursed at any moment and therefore for him to have died on a cross.

7. After he had awoken from his swoon ("resurrection"), Jesus bared his wounds to Thomas [John 20:25-27], showing he did not have a supernatural, resurrected body, but a wounded human body. He was also seen in the flesh by a large number of his followers, baring the same wounds that he had suffered from his ordeal on the Cross. [Luke 24:38-39]

8. After his wounds had sufficiently healed Jesus left the tomb and met some of his disciples and had his food with them and walked from Jerusalem to Galilee. [Luke 24:50]

9. In his post-crucifixion appearances, Jesus left the tomb in the darkness of night [John 20:1]; he appears to have been moving away from the source of danger[Luke 24:28-29]; he showed himself only to his disciples, people whom he trusted and not the general public [John 14:22]; and met them under the cover of darkness at night [John 20:19]. This behaviour is uncharacteristic of one who had just miraculously succeeded in defying death at the hands of his enemies, having been given a new eternal life with an immortal physical body, and is more consistent with one who had just survived it and was avoiding their (that is both the government agencies and the public) notice lest he be recaptured.

10. Jesus stated that he was sent only for the "lost sheep of the house of Israel" [Matthew 15:24] and prophesied that he would go to seek out the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel (residing beyond the Palestine region) [John 10:16]. The Jews of Jesus's time believed that the Lost Tribes of Israel had become dispersed in different lands. [John 7:34-35]

11. When Joseph requested Jesus' body from the cross [Mark 15:43], Pilate asked a centurion if Jesus was already dead [Mark 15:44]. The centurion confirmed that Jesus was already dead [Mark 15:45]. This centurion was a believer that Jesus was the son of God [Mark 15:39].

12. There are no accounts in the gospel of Jesus ascending into the heavens, aside from accounts that were absent from the earliest written gospels.

No, Jesus was the long awaited jewish Messiah and a prophet of God and preached the truth. The Christianity of today is nowhere near what Jesus preached, it has been altered with and corrupted through the years. Many muslims believe that Jesus is in the heavens alive as a prophet, but the fact of the matter is that there are at least 30 verses of the Quran that suggest that Jesus did not ascend to Heaven but instead died a natural death on Earth

None of this is sensical or convincing.

It's like you are arguing with yourself over something obscure.

All of these words you wrote will fade to time and dust.

While the Word of God endures forever.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, is King of Heaven and Earth.

Your flag, the Norwegian flag, is a giant Christian cross in honor of Christ.

1 Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.

2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.

3 Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.

4 Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them.

6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them.

7 For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.

8 Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.

9 And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

What if I were to tell ya there was no cross. Srs. Some people think it was a stake and that the "cross" was added to the story later.

There is no such verse and he was not. Even his fierce enemies at the time never made this allegation because there was no basis for it

You are making zero sense, i just proved from Biblical sources that Jesus never died on the cross. Jesus is not God, nor is he the literal son of God

So for the rest of Jesus's life, did he remain celibate or was he allowed to have sex? (srs)

I think saying you proved it is a stretch. Your post is no more “proof” than the Bible is. That’s kind of the essence of faith right?

Where did you copy pasta this from? Did you even read any of the scripture you are trying to use as your "proof?"

Here's a quick rundown for you. I highly suggest you do some actual reading of scripture, as a whole not cherry picking, before just copying something form somewhere that you haven't actually verified yourself.

1. He's referring to dying and rising again on the 3rd day. I mean seriously do you even know ANYTHING about Jesus or the Bible?

2. He was beaten to a pulp before ever being put on the cross. He had ripped up muscle and tissue down to the bone. His face was unrecognizable. He had thorns shoved down to the bone on his skull. His bones not being broken were a fulfillment of scripture. Again, wherever you grabbed this from is cherry picking like they all do. How does being pierced in the side releasing blood and water = a beating heart? That was to prove he was dead. You know, all the fluid built up and suffocating Him as he struggled to breathe.

3. Jesus prayed for His father to "take this cup, nevertheless your will be done." I believe you missed the second part along with "Father, Father, why have you forsaken me." Again, you can't cherry pick.

4. This is just dumb and weak. Pilate had no love or sympathy for Jesus. He did know that Jesus was innocent but was most concerned with preventing an uprising. So, he gave the Jewish people what they wanted.

5. Wait, so his back is ripped open to the bone, his face is beaten beyond recognition and he just hung on a cross with spikes driven into his hand and feet... but aloe did the trick. Never mind, this is the dumbest one.

6. You clearly do not know why Jesus died on the cross. He took on the sin of the world (past, present and future) in our place. Took the punishment that we rightfully deserve. This is why His Father turned away from Him. God is holy, which means he is perfect and without sin. So, he had to break the connection to His son when Jesus took on the full wrath of our sin. Again, have you ever cracked a Bible or did you just snag this from ********?

7. Spoiler Alert: Jesus will forever bear the markings of the suffering he bore for the sin of the world. When us true Christ followers meet Him one day, He will still have them as a reminder of the cost of our sin and His love for us. Spoiler Alert #2: That's what resurrection is- He appeared to over 500 people across 40 days before ascending into heaven. Eating with them to prove that He had defeated death and it was indeed a true resurrection of His body.

8. BRB aloe healing my minced up back, swollen face and pierced hands and feet in a few days. Doctors hate this one simple trick......

9. Wait, so because He didn't resurrect the way that YOU think He should have that is evidence that it didn't happen? He had already told his disciples that He would meet them in Galilee, you know, where He began recruiting them. He also had appearances for 40 days, not all at night and to 500+ people at one time (1 Corr 15:6). At the time this was written, many of them were still alive which is why Paul states that.

10. Not even sure what you are reaching for here. Of course Jesus came to save the lost. All of the lost across the world. That's why He gave us the great commission - to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth so that none shall spend eternity separated from God in hell.

11. First, one of the centurion's did confess "Surely, this is the Son of God" after witnessing his death on the cross. This does not mean he was a believer but that after what he witnessed (unnatural darkness, earthquake, graves cracking open) that he realized that Jesus was exactly who He said He was. Even still, do you truly believe he was the only one there to witness it? Let's just say it is referring to the same guy in these passages, do you believe Pilate would only take his word and no one else that witnessed it was around? If any of the centurion's would have lied about it, they would have been crucified themselves.

12. Last time here - you have clearly never read the Bible. See Luke 24:51, Mark 16:19, John 20:17

I appreciate your answer, but its evident from Biblical sources that Jesus did not die on the cross and he was saved from the humiliation of death on the cross. The Bible says:

“he that is hanged is accursed of God”. (Deuteronomy 21:23)

Almighty God did work to save his beloved prophet from an accursed death on the cross. Jesus fervently prayed that the cup of death on the cross be removed. He said:

“O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me”. (Matthew 26:39

The Bible further informs us that these supplications were heard and accepted:

“Who in the days of flesh when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he suffered”. (Hebrews 5:7)

Jesus had predicted to give the sign of Jonas:

“But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

“For as Jonas was three days and three nights in a whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth”. (Matthew 12:39-40)

For the sign to be similar to that of Jonas, Jesus must have been alive in the sepulchre after the incident of crucifixion.

Jesus was alive when he was being taken off from the cross. A soldier pierced his side with a spear and blood and water came out which normally indicates life. The Bible says:

“But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side and forthwith came there blood and water”. (John 19:34)

Jesus met his disciples after crucifixion and assured them of his life.

“And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them then came Jesus, the doors being shut and stood in the midst, and said, ‘Peace be unto you’. Then saith he to Thomas. “Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands, and reach hither thy hand and thrust into my side and be not faithless, but believing”. (John 20:26, 27)

Jesus was sent to “the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 15:24) as he himself declared. It is historically proven that these lost Israelites had migrated to different eastern countries. Jesus in fulfillment of his heavenly mission, went to the lost Israelites and conveyed his prophetic message. In Kashmir, he died a natural honourable death. In fact his tomb, even today can be visited in Srinagar, Kashmir.

Moreover, Jesus was a staunch believer in the oneness of God. He came to re-enforce the old commandments. He said:

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of heaven”. (Matthew 5:17-19)

God commanded the Israelites, according to the Old Testament:

“I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Thou shalt have none other gods before me … Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath or in the waters beneath the earth”. (Deuteronomy 5:6-8)

Over and over again, the Old Testament has very explicitly and emphatically enjoined belief in one God:

“the Lord our God is one Lord”. (Deuteronomy 6:4)

If Trinity, which is so much stressed by Christianity today, had its basis on facts, it would have been explicitly stated in the Old Testament. On the contrary, the teachings of Moses urge us to believe in one God. Jesus earnestly championed for this unity of God, as the New Testament quotes:

“And Jesus answered him. The first of all the commandments is, Hear O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength. This is the first commandment”. (Mark 12:29-30)

Moreover, Jesus said:

“And behold, one came and said unto him, ‘Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?’ And he said unto him. ‘Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God, but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments'”. (Matthew 19:16-17)

Thus, Jesus strongly believed in the absolute oneness of God, and enjoined others to believe in it. I believe true Christianity, in its original form, leads to Islam.

The whole cross thing always bugged me. Like every guy, I have dig a hole and put a stick in it. Almost impossible for the stick to stand on its own as it always falls over. Cant imagine putting a full grown man on that stick and it not falling over at least once in a while.

Plus look at the resources required. Wood beams, big nails, ladders all that. These are for use on the absolute worst criminals in the area so why would they wasted valuable resources like that. Giant wood beams could certaily have been put to better use.

I think it was the crook of a tree. They put a long beam across your back then put you in the crook of a small tree. You really only need to be high enough off the ground so your feet dont touch. They did use a spike though one heel to the tree so you cant swing off. Hands were just tied.

- the guy lanced his side with a spear, those spears were about 6ft long. You wouldnt hold it at the very end and reach up but probably close to the middle. That puts the wound about 6-8 feet up or so. Maybe his feet would be 3 feet off the gound.

- Joseph takes him off the cross by himself. Now think through the mechanics of that with nails and all of that. Did they supply ladders and pliers and all that? Did he undo one hand first and let him dangle or just rip the nails through his hands? Either way it seems super hard by yourself.

my method he can just lift him off one side of the crook in the tree and the body would fall down.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

I literally am proving from the Bible that 1. Jesus never died on the cross and 2. Jesus only ever worshipped one God and he was a staunch believer in the oneness of God. He came to re-enforce the old commandments and over and over again, the Old Testament has very explicitly and emphatically enjoined belief in one God. The Christianity of today is in fact spineless and nowhere near what Jesus originially preached and believed in

Freedom of speech is a principle pillar of a free government; when this support is taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved and tyranny is erected on its ruins.

Then rose 3 days after. Jesus died on the cross went to the depths of the earth and brought back condemned souls that believed. Hallelujah Christ is king. Do not let anyone tell you other wise. There is only one holy book and it is the Holy Bible. King James Version. Anyone who points you to a different religion is truly the antichrist. Jesus is the only way and there is no other book for teaching and this is straight up Godlyness fuk off to the haters they will die in their own sin
