I'm trying to become a mailman, should I buy a suit for an interview?

at the least, business casual with a tie...but personally, i would wear a suit.

Suit always helps. You can get a nice one for cheap at a 2nd hand shop.

No. The objective is to show you respect the interviewer and the process. Dressing too fancy shows you dont know what you are doing.

Think about it, would you wear a tuxedo to that interview? of course not as it would look foolish. Same with shorts and flip flops.

Just wear some slacks, button down shirt and a tie. Wear dress shoes too, not sneakers. They look stupid with dress slacks no matter what hollywood tells you.
