Misc docs, I either have metastatic cancer, lymphoma, or neither
So just checked my online portal and saw this after the latest CT scan:

About this lump, I seem to remember having this lump since I was a kid (32 now), just much smaller, maybe rice grain size. It seems to have slowly grown over the years. My friend pointed it out 6 years ago and said he never saw it before, I brushed it off cause I remembered having it as a kid. It slowly grew since then.. it's been it's current swollen size about 3 years ago, and maybe got a tad bigger since then
I got it checked 1.5 years ago, docs felt it and said it seemed benign, probably a cyst, offered to cut it out there but I wasn't mentally prepared. When I was ready months later they did an ultrasound first to be sure. They found it was a "very benign lymph node" so I was like whatever, for some reason waited more time cause I dreaded surgery. My doc swore it was a cyst though and wanted me to get a CT scan to be sure
I went in the online portal and read the results and freaked out, called everyone I knew cause IDK how to process it, as I thought it meant I had metastatic lymphoma. It was only after I calmed down that I saw the wording may have instead indicated that of the possible diagnoses, metastatic cancer of another origin, OR lymphoma are possible and to follow up to be sure.
Or is it that I do have metastatic lymphoma?
Thing is, the doc said a few months ago my condition doesn't suggest cancer at all as it doesn't behave like this generally, being that I had it for years and am otherwise healthy
I do have intermittent itching, but I've attributed it to stress as it correlates with it, and I use to have this symptom long ago at a similar time in life
Cliffs:
Just freaked out for a few hours that I have stage 4 lymphoma and maybe 60% survival rate. Called everyone up, then read the report again and saw it just means I might have that

I wouldn't worry about it too much until you talk to the doc. No reason to freak the fuk out since you don't really even know how to interpret the report. Sounds like it's listing all possible potential issues and unless you've had a biopsy I dont think it would be confirmed diagnosis

I've been freaking tf out, feels surreal, can't believe it. Thinking how I could die in a few years
Don't feel like a cancer patient at all. Way healthier than I was in my teens

They can't 100% rule out metastatic as a legal liability.
Where is the mass? I'm betting it's a lipoma and benign. Not a doc though. Get it checked out again if you'd like.

It's in the back right side of my neck about midway up
I've had 2 ENTs feel it and say it doesn't feel cancerous at all and both were convinced it's a cyst
Family history of cysts as well

That's not saying you have cancer. The big lump in your neck is just being flagged as possibly being caused by cancer.
