Perhaps physically but actually dressed rather well. Z4 strikes me as a jeans and tshirt type, with the good ones for special occasions having fewer holes.

Good questions from Jon, but he still defends the empire and has made no effort to challenge people like Hillary or Rice on their foreign policy. This is largely controlled opposition. Many of you think about it in terms of money and feel that simply replacing the current heads will solve the problems. That's not the case. The entire system and mission of the US military and America in general is corrupt and arguably, pure evil. The US military is an organization that exists purely to coerce other nations into giving us better deals. It's why our nation is outrageously rich. And the average American doesn't see a penny of it.

She said the fact that they repeatedly can't pass an audit isn't suggestive of wastefulness or corruption, and he flat-out told her that in the real world, having increased budgets and salaries while the rank and file soldiers and vets are on food stamps is suggestive of corruption. He put her feet to the fire rather than giving her a pass as most other journalists do and she melted down.

The person I said that was smug, is the lady. She was condescending and defensive of calm, measured questions that all American taxpayers have a right to know the answers to.

Btw, and I contributed to what I am about to call out -- but watching this thread, it kind of encapsulates a lot that is wrong with this section right now. It's a legitimate discussion and it immediately was ignored in favor of personally attacking the OP, our boy z4.

Two thoughts: That shouldn't have gone down like that, but I also have to point out this kind of off-topic personal silly chit it often what z4 exclusively brings to the table. In his defense, I think lately he's been stepping up his game and I've seen him actually engage and make points and keep things more to what this section should be. I think he even made some decent points somewhere. This thread itself is a good topic, one both left and right should be breaking bread over.
