It's awesome that they're still making music, they're living their best life and I respect that. They even sound pretty good still

But man they just don't have that same virtuosity they had in the 80s

Been a Metallica fan since about 2000.

The album sucks. Not a single song I'll ever choose to listen to a second time. Super repetitive, way too long and Kirk has completely lost it.

gonna check out this new stuff, though, but have usually been disappointed. There was one newer band that I kinda liked- check out Revolution saints - back on my trail.. not sure about their other stuff

Thrash just does not sound good with todays production. All the 80s thrash bands still
Going it just sounds bland, only metalcore and death core suits todays production
