Scorn is pretty fukkin incredible

Most people will not like it because it completely disregards every modern day vg convention. Just absolutely does not give a fukk about being accessible, and definitely suffers for it at times, but mang, what an experience.

Just finished it and while I did struggle to enjoy myself during some sections, overall, it's so fukkin unique, I won't ever forget it. Amazing art direction, mood, lore, visuals, attention to detail, and some dark holy chit moments (you literally blend babies and get jacked off by a machine). I'm still processing it.

If you give it a try, just power through the initial confusion and the sense of being lost. You will get used to the game not holding your hand. I did not look up a hint once. You will get it if you allow yourself to be absorbed in the atmosphere. There is one tedious area with lots of enemies (combat is awful but thats sort of the point) but the finish is fantastic. The last area is fukkin incredible.

Wasn't really a fan but it does have an incredible atmosphere. Definitely a niche game.

Developers said from the get go that it is inspired by a mix of Giger and Beksinski. Some areas are literally those painted worlds come to life. As a huge fan of Beksinski (and I do like the art of Alien/Prometheus as well), some sections just had me fukking blown away.

Regarding, "edgelord filler" that's just low iq talking. The game is unapologetically unique so it's not for everyone but you can tell it was a passion project pretty fast. The attention to detail is ridiculous and it looks both artistically and technologically stunning. You don't make filler that way.

Wouldn't even call it a game tbh. It's more of an interactive experience that you will only enjoy if you are into that art style. The puzzles span entire 'levels' and are very part of the lore.

Dripping with atmosphere and incredible art design, but seem's like that's where all the budget went into because the rest game was quite mid. It was ok, but just another throwaway game on gamepass ... glad i didnt have to pay for it.

It felt like they could have made a great FPS, but instead they went for more of a puzzle game and it just didn't make for good gameplay.

Never finished but I think I will now. Was intrigued by the story and the atmosphere was pretty incredible and there is always something weird or cool around the next corner. Definitely not for everyone but if you like chill puzzlers this one delivers.
