I one time got a room filled with 14 kids under the age of 10, to calm down by putting on "Army of Darkness." They were transfixed with what they saw.

I miss the days when they actually scared me. I will say if itβs a good horror spiritual movie that will make me a bit freaked Iβd itβs done well. I will be thinking about hell and demons if itβs not too goofy but, scaring me is a stretch.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.

Love horror, but don't really get scared by it (too desensitised at this point). Do get creeped out though. Most recent one was "Speak No Evil". The first to creep me and get me into the genre was probably The Blair Witch Project.
Edit: Just remembered being terrorised as a kid by that creepy old dude in Poltergeist.

It wasn't scary but the scene in Evil Dead(2013) where the truck is lipped over and lands on her hand then she screams in pain pounding the ground then tears her arm and hand apart from each other.
I wince every time.

A widower takes an offer to screen girls at a special audition, arranged for him by a friend to find him a new wife. The one he fancies is not who she appears to be after all.

No movies scare me as an adult man because I know they are just movies lol. They might get me with cheap jump scares, but that's it.
You know what movies scared me as a kid? The Freddy Krueger movies. I thought they were so scary.
Now if I watched a Freddy Krueger movie I'd be like, "Pfff. This movie fukking sucks. Everyone must've been on drugs in the 1980s for them to make this weird chit. This movie needs t!ts in it like the Friday the 13th movies."
