Do you ever go to clubs alone?

I'm planning to go alone tonight but it feels kind of weird. I don't want to go with my previous mates because they just stand on the side like wallflowers and don't approach. I also think when you go with a group it's like your safety net and makes you want to stay with them in your "circle" and not meet women because it feels more comfortable with the people you know than talking to strangers. So how do you get yourself pumped up when heading to a club alone.

A couple things to say about this...

Going alone is top tier clubbing in my opinion. The ONLY thing better than going alone is going to a club with a group you just met at a different venue. Because you're going in with a group, you can leave them or catch up later, maybe hook up with one of their chucks, maybe not.

Going with your mates is dogsh*t cuz you're just watching for eachother and standing by eachother uselessly.

Going with mates only works if yall understand the game, which js basically act like you're there alone anyways, and ifnyou run into eachother or if you collectively agree it's a dogsh*t night that night.

Ok, all that said....post-covid clubs are all DAWG-SH*IIIIIIII*T bro. I'm looking in LA, Miami, Vegas, clubs used to be grinding on hot b*tches ass's with your jeans covered hard cock. These days it's a dance floor of people staring at the DJ with 1 hand up during a base drop and then that's it.

Reminds me of one time I went to a club with a friend and we approached 2 girls, one told me they didn't find him attractive, so he left the conversation and I was worrying about him if he was doing ok or got his feelings hurt lol. They left me too in the end oh well.

Yeah dude it just doesn't work I swear.

The ONLY way it works is if you and your bud have a mutual understanding that you're gonna basically ignore eachother the first hour there, and then if about 1-2 hours in, if neither of you are having fun, you go.

If 1 of you isn't having fun, he goes without saying anything.

But if 1 guy is loke "hey let's go I don't loke it here" it just ruins the whole thing

Back in the day I'd go to goth clubs or alternative clubs alone because that scene is about dancing. Same with raves. If I got signals a girl was interested then I'd go for it, but that wasn't the intention of the evening. Sometimes you meet some really cool people.

Remember, nobody gives a crap about you and won't even notice you're there alone. And even if they do, who cares, you're never going to see them again.

I liked how in the great Gatsby the one lady says she loves large crowded parties because it's so much easier to find privacy as opposed to small parties.

Reporting back, I went out alone but needed a decent amount of liquid courage. I did approach some women but none of it went anywhere but it was better than staying home. I actually talked to more guys than girls lol, being alone I felt the need to be social with anyone in my vicinity so I didn't look like a loser standing alone in the club. At a certain point though the drink became too much to handle and I ended up puking in a park, but I feel fine now the next morning. My goal is to try this again but sober.

True on going to clubs, I always seem to have the best time when I am not really close to the people I am with, so I mingle more.

Clubs these days sound depressing through. Crazy how dystopian this country has become, what a garbage culture we got these days.

Took me so long to learn this. Don't go out with your best friends unless they're really about it and know how to pull. 99% of the time it won't work because you're all very good friends so you'll actually wanna hangout and shoot the chit.

My best crew was just dudes I had met in the last year or 2. We were cool but not that close so we would just go in with the mindset of picking up girls. Never had more success in my life, we'd always challenge each other and just go for it. Since we barely knew each other we felt like we had to prove ourselves which really helped.

Never gone out alone but I'll also say the night life isn't the same post Covid it has definitely gotten more difficult to pick up.

90% of the times I went to a club, I drank too much - sometimes too much to remember things. The other 10% I felt like "WTF am I doing here?" if I'm there alone. Haven't been since probably age 23, but I did go to a bar not too long ago that had mostly people ages 20-22, felt out of place AF lol.

I don't think I could ever go solo these days unless it was for a particular artist or something - even then I'd drink more water and not go full blown sloppy college drunk.

Not clubs now but I go to a few local bars with younger crowds, decent mix of people. 100% of the time I start off alone and if I run into someone l know, awesome, but also 100% of the time I will get approached by a random who starts a Convo so I always end up meeting people whenever I go out
